Frequently asked questions
Can I upscale an image?
Yes up to 500%, but heavy upscaling is blurry because pixels cannot be invented. The tool recomputes the other dimension automatically when the aspect ratio is locked.
Why is the output PNG even when I uploaded a JPG?
Resizing re-encodes losslessly as PNG to avoid double lossy compression. Use the Image Converter afterwards if you need WebP or JPEG output.
